The following beliefs and philosophies apply to both my coaching and consulting. I believe that:
* holistic approaches to personal and business development are most effective;
* connection to nature and remembering individuals and organizations are living organisms provides the gentlest guidance for change;
* clients are best served when we create independent relationships, not dependent relationships;
* change is constant and can not be managed; change is not an event;
* simple solutions are required for the complex situations we face today;
* sustainable change comes from within individuals; shifts from external to internal motivation are needed;
* each individual and organization has within it the wisdom for its own optimal health and balance;
* a focus on individual and organization strengths is the best way to access knowledge and wisdom;
* spirit matters; the creative spirit within and between people is what enables achievement of the success people deeply desire;
* organization wide change happens when positive change comes from individuals;
* organizational change is best led from within organizations, not from external consultants.
It is my experience that strategies based on these beliefs and philosophies lead to extraordinary and practical results. |
